SURAH AL- FATIHA:

   

 

 

 

TRANSATION:

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
The Beneficent, the Merciful.
Owner of the Day of Judgement.
You (alone) do we worship, and You (alone) we ask for help.
Guide us on the Straight Path.
The Path of those whom You have favoured;
Not (the path) of those who earn Your anger, nor of those who go astray.

(Qur’an: 1:1-7)

1)MEANING OF AL FATIHA:  IT means  the opening or the enterence of the HOLY QURAN.

2)THE PERIOD OF REVELATION: THis Surah is cosidred to be one of the very early revelations and one of the first complete surah’s revealed on the Prophet (PBUH) at Makkah.It has 1 section and 7 verses.

3)THE SUBJECT : This surah is actually a PRAYER taught by GOD for every human being who wants to study HIS message.Meaning that it teaches the reader that if He sincerely wants to benefit from this BOOK he should pray to the LORD OF THE UNIVERSE for “THE GUIDANCE TOWARDS THE RIGHT PATH”.

It is important to know that the real realation between Al Fatiha and the QURANis not that of an introduction to a book ,but that of a prayer and its answer.Al Fatiha is the prayer from the devotee and the rest of AL QURAN is the answer from ALLAH.The devotee prays to Allah to show him the “Right Way” and Allah places the whole “QURAN ” before him in answer to his prayer.

4)PRAYER AND SURAH FATIHA:

1)This surah is known as SABA’a MATHANI (SEVEN OFT REPEATED VERSES)

2)It is also called UMMAL KITAB (MOTHER OF THE BOOK),foundation and essence of the QURAN.

3)It’s recitation is mendatory in each islamic prayer (SALAH) .It is recited at least seventeen times daily in the five obligatory prayers. ( To be continued InsaaALLAH:) )

Entering Paradise

Never miss an opportunity for doing a good deed :For example:

1)smile at everyone you meet especially whenever you look at your parents.

2) If someones asks you for a glass of water never say no.

3)Give good advice when you see someone in a difficult situation.

4)Avoid fighting even when you know you are right

5)Be kind to animals .

 

What are some of the  other good deeds you can think of ?

Forgive And Forget????

One of the basic teachings of ISlLAM is to forgive .THIS made me smile 🙂

Bunny Slippers

Are you a human? If your answers yes then you must definitely had a fight with some other human bean ;).After the fight did you ever think of forgiving that person.99.9% of the people would say no. I myself would learn karate, get a black belt and kick that person you know where instead of forgiving and “FORGET” EXCUSE ME WHAT DOES “THAT”WORD MEAN?

But not forgiving and forgetting can also cost you a lot for starters:

1) You’ll become old before your grandparents .And when your grandchildren ask granny why is your hair white is it because of wisdom?you’ll have  no choice  but to tell them “ NO ,I never forgave and therefore I also never forgot” .

2) Instead of going to sleep at night like other people you’ll lay awake in bed thinking of ways to take revenge which could lead to insomnia making you a zombie…

DEDICATED TO MANKIND (THE HOLY QURAN ):

                                                       

1)THE HOLY QURAN is a message from Allah for the whole of mankind.

2)The Quran is the word of GOD which has no doubt in it.

3)Quran is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God.

4)The Quran was verbally revealed from God to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel (Jibril), gradually over a period of approximately 23 years.

5)The word Quran means “The book that is Read.”

 

6)The Quran consists 114 units known as Surahs.

7)It is the only Holy book that has not been distorted by time or modifications.

8)The Quran is recited in Arabic .

9)The Hadith and Sunnah (Sayings and actions of the holy Prophet) are meant to elaborate the Quran. The Quran lays down the foundation for all the tenets in Islam, whilst the Hadith (or the Sunnah) provide the support further explanation & elaboration plus methods on how all Muslims have to perform or carry out the various acts and duties in much greater details.

10)Allah has told us in the Quran the stories of the earlier and later generations and the creation of the heavens and the earth.

 

He has explained in detail what halaal (lawful and pure) is and what is haraam (unlawful and harmful), the basics of good manners and morals, the rulings of worship and dealings with others, the lives of the Prophets and the righteous, and the reward and punishment of the believers and disbelievers.

 He has described Paradise, the abode of the believers.

He has described Hell, the abode of the disbelievers. He has made it (the Quran ) an explanation of all things.

10)People who say that the (THE QURAN) wasn’t revealed by ALLAh,but a prophet wrote it should ask themselves “Can a book of this size and volume ,which does not have any contradictions or grammatical errors even though revealed in a 23 year time span ,be attributed to an unlettered man ?

12)When Quran is being recited listening to it quitely and carefully is obligatory.

12)The requirement to touch this book is to touch it with clean hands .

 

13)To embrace Islam one is required to say the following statement (KALIMAH):

 

“LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAHU MUHAMMADUR RASOOL ALLAH ”

 

TRANSLATION :”THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH AND MUHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH.”

And then follow the Quran and the teachings of MUHAMMAD (SAWW) peace be upon him.

ALLAH (GOD) THe Creator Of QURAN:

Praise be to ALLAH ALMIGHTY (GOD) who is the cherisher and sustainer of the universe .

 

ALLAH (SWT) is the personal name of THE ONE TRUE GOD. Nothing else can be called Allah. The term has no plural or gender. This shows its uniqueness when compared with the word god which can be made plural, gods, or feminine, goddess.

The Prophet Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries about Allah; the answer came directly from God Himself in the form of a short chapter of the Quran, which is considered the essence of the unity or the motto of monotheism. This is chapter 112 which reads:

“In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone.”

“People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, ‘Three.’ Refrain; better is it for you. God is only one God. Glory be to Him – (He is) above having a son.” (4:171)

GOD in ISLAM is the most loving .Some non-Muslims allege that God in Islam is a stern and cruel God who demands to be obeyed fully. He is not loving and kind. Nothing can be farther from truth than this allegation. It is enough to know that, with the exception of one, each of the 114 chapters of the Quran begins with the verse: “In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.” In one of the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) we are told that “God is more loving and kinder than a mother to her dear child.”
